Here at Donna-Michelle photography, we are proud to have been associated with great causes such as Wiltshire Wishes, and we have captured various images on camera, be it sponsored events, or the promotion of merchandise for the charity. We have been proudly part of the Connor Dream Appeal where we, together with the Community Forum that I own, and with the help of my Admin and partner, and local businesses, we created a Charity Calendar, capturing images of local places and those Businesses, which we sold, to contribute towards making Connors final dreams come true. Connor was a local twelve year old, who had captured the hearts of a whole County and beyond, in the way he bravely fought against terminal cancer. Together with the love and support of his Mother, Jenny Wills he stood his ground, and achieved many of his final ambitions and dreams. This was something which moved us beyond words, and we were deeply sad when Connor passed away. He has left a huge legacy behind him, being the remarkable and brave child that he was. RIP Connor Robinson.
As a family we are proudly associated with charities such as Diabetes UK and JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund) This is since the recent diagnosis for our lovely daughter, in Jan 2011 of Type 1 Diabetes, we have done various fund raising, including the sale of Greetings cards with an image that she herself captured, to sponsored walks and holding a Tea Party, this is only the beginning for us in terms of being involved in the promotion of these charities and raising vital funds for them to continue their support and research. Early next year I am planning a Charity mountain climb, Snowdon being the location and the charities listed here being the groups who I aim to give money to.
My daughter, who is 9, is now running her own support online, specifically for children with Diabetes, you can find her at
We are also busy campaigning at the moment for an Insulin Pump for our daughter, which would take away the need for her 4xdaily injections, something which for a child is deeply stressful, we have organised an online petition on the Government Website,It would help us immensely if you could please sign it here, it takes just two mintutes, but for my child and all those in her position, it is potentially life changing.
Please find it here
